This 11-hour top rope anchors course will give you the knowledge you need to safely set up your own outdoor rock climbs. The course covers fall protection when working on top of the cliff, choosing strong anchors, equalizing anchors, tying essential climbing knots, use of ground anchors and belaying with non-locking devices. We will also help you select optimal equipment for your climbs and teach you when to retire equipment. Participants will receive information and an equipment list to help review what was learned on the course. This is the gym to crag course you are looking for to transition from climbing indoors to setting up outdoors. [MAP]
